They've grown as a company, but their policies have changed for the worse.

It seems as though their growth over the years, has taken away their responsibility towards their users.

That Is, they're well and truly an established platform of communication used by 250+ million users, and they basically couldn't care less If their policies result In losing a few thousand accounts here and there.

Discord has been up to a lot of shady shit. I'm slowly gravitating towards Riot. It works a bit like Discord. There are servers and chat, and a few others I'm probably missing. The main difference is Riot is open-source, and the Riot developers implement great security features.

Around the time we made the choice to use Discord again, I was wanting to use basically anything else. The drawback is that's not the case for everyone else.
