Diamond Most of the people problem get solved by bios settng [Wifi issue]

Today i was watching this video on how to fix wifi issue , he tried A to Z method but nothing works , same story is going on me with , as i planned to go to service center within a week but but but , that video guy telling that use this last step ... go in bios and in wireless setting reset it and that method works for many as i was reading comment of his video. many telling the bios worked for them that strange ... and i am confused that after windows reset everything get format but bios get to original state or not...

i will try out today this bios before going to service center , maybe bios is the cause behind all this...as after reset windows i didnt receive bios updates... as i remember when i open the laptop as new , i got bios updates ... it automatically installed...

2 solution i will try out tonight.

1.go into bios and reset it.
2.bios updates if doesnt work .

3. ready to go service center now.

A clean Installation of Windows, will not affect the current state of your BIOS.

when i enter into my bios , i didnt find any network reset option inside it , now i found service center also and i filled the online repair form.

Not every motherboard manufacturer supports It, hence It may be the case with yours.

That said, do you have a "Power Management" option? If so, see If there's anything related to "Wireless".

i just found that my wifi card is located below the hard drive , damm fuck , i am scared .now.. that they dont do any damage to hard drive. Confused

, replacing wifi wiill they keep the laptop , or will quickly return to me in few hours.....

Your BIOS/settings are entirely separate from your operating system. The BIOS/settings are stored on your motherboard (flash memory), whereas your operating system is stored on your hard drive.

If you intend to flash/update the BIOS, you better know what you're doing. If you don't understand any of this, I would highly suggest sending it to the service center (rather than messing with it further).

yes i already filled the form today , i received within 2 day , repair men will come to my home.

It's their job to repair manufacturing defects, so you have nothing to fear.

as you can read this post same guy and same laptop and same problem .. he also faced .... its look asus is not doing well ..... i would go for acer ....

Nothing personal to yourself, but I'll never touch another ASUS product again.

I've had so many laptops lose functionality over the years, hence I've opted for Acer and It's the best decision I've made.
