This might possibly be my favourite thing I read today xD
Although, it does make you think about where we got all these PC-related terms from.
Also, PC used to mean Police Constable.
A Tower or Build used to refer to buildings/architecture.
A Network was used to describe old tunnels.

Well, life would be much the same except for the internet. Every thing must have been at snails pace with mechanical typewriters to write mail and then postal department to deliver it. People still had reference libraries to check facts on encyclopaedia, could look up words in dictionary in book form. For telephone numbers they used telephone directory. So life in general would have been very slow. But I am sure that generation would have led a much happier life.
