Especially with twitch prime (renamed as prime gaming), a tier 1 subscription is 5-10$, current xqc has the most with 50k+. this does not count donations & stuff such as merch etc... a lot of streamers also have a youtube channel so they can also gain some revenue from youtube, most of the time its just highlights of streams.

(Twitch pays you each months for each sub, for example, 500 subs that individually cost 5$ will most likely get you 2k$-2.5k depending if theres any fees or sum idk.)

PS: twitch is aids, the only good thing about it are streamers, im subbed to jawsh, carson, jschlatt, ludwig, sethbling & poke (not pokimane retard). The only people i support on youtube are currently Simpleflips & DeSinc (via patreon)

is it complusory to show face while playing games , and in twitch can we record game than upload or we need to do live gaming there?
you need to stream, however you can save previous streams on your twitch channel

I wouldn't be surprised if people made their living viewbotting YouTube or Twitch ads. YouTube might pay better on ads, but Twitch has bits/subs/Prime. Both platforms take a pretty big cut when it comes down to it, too.

You don't have to show your face, but it helps bring people in since it's more interactive. Most successful streamers either have a camera, or they're talking to people. Depending on what you're doing, that might not be necessary.

I meant people that do it themselves (i.e. botnets/proxies).

i watch streamers (like ConnorEatsPants & sometimes Jawsh) that doesn't always have their cam on, this is because they just feel like its not required & that it makes them unconfortable.

More a general rule of thumb, doesn't always apply. Vtubers don't show their face and there's plenty of people that are engaging enough without cameras. But if you're a new streamer the worst thing you can do is not use a camera or microphone.

Just watch other videos and talks rubbish about what you are feeling about the video. Record in a video and upload in youtube. And that's pretty much it

I can think of many examples of the lazy side of this, are there any good examples with more valuable commentary (for example VFX Artists React)?
