I really don't like disabling updates, Monthly updates better than no update;

But anyway Congrats on getting back your laptop; I also fixed my phone today they replaced all the screen.

The repairman seems a bit strange. However, the important thing is that you have it back and it's working.

For one reason or another, he obviously doesn't want to disclose the cause.

The main thing Is It's fixed, but In the event the same Issue Is experienced In future, It'll be handy to know precisely what caused It.

Windows updates cause more Issues than what they fix. I've come across countless users who've experienced major problems after performing updates.

Windows updates cause more Issues than what they fix. I've come across countless users who've experienced major problems after performing updates.

On the flip side, I once was at work having serious issues with slowness on the machine I was using. It hadn't been updated in 4 years... Once updated, it was all better. I guess it's useful to pay attention to what the updates are for...

me and moderator are of same thought when it come to update its useless...they will keep giving updates..and your storage will keep decreasing....its always better to install antivirus to protect...

Yes, I'm not suggesting that the updates have a negative Impact In Its entirety, but rather can cause significant Issues at the best of times.

The OP's ongoing problems are a prime example of this.
