Well, he shouldn't be giving people false hopes by claiming that It does.

At the beginning of the video, he says verbatim: "The Covaxin and It was found to neutralize the 617 variant". Yet at the end of the video, he states: "Get vaccinated and you'll certainly have a degree of protection". They're both very different from each other, however he clearly believes otherwise. I don't think he's aware of the meaning "neutralize", so I'll define It for him- to render something Ineffective.

It's not my Intention to be difficult about the matter, but rather to tell It the way It Is, and not the way I see It.

I suppose the reality is that it is literally impossible to "neutralize" any covid variant by vaccine alone. As no one vaccine is 100% effective. While his use of words was a little off, I think he's just trying to say that it will work against the new variant, as it does with others.

It must be very difficult for you. Many of us were looking forward to 2021 as the year that things would get better. Give it time, and you'll get through it! The vaccines and oxygen will come. Stay strong for a bit longer!

India is by far very advanced in medical research and it's no surprise that their own product Covaxin have been found to be effective against many Covid mutants. It is believed to be effective against the Delta Plus variant too which is sweeping across few countries. India has done great service to mankind by donating vaccines to neighbouring and to many other poor countries.
