Make this a poll, and yes I agree. It is stupid to put someone in jail for life and let them live off my tax money, when their is no way in hell they could ever contribute to society.

I think the debate is supposed to be about your morals, not your wallet. To be honest, I think the death penalty shouldn't be used unless a person is beyond help. As we know, American prisons don't actually rehabilitate their prisoners.
