Moreover, it is desirable to use a quality service that will not only change your IP every couple of minutes, but also secure and provide good speed. I can not say which one, since I did not use it, but I advise you to try ipvanish review. I read enough positive reviews about him.
I like your answer.

In fact, this should be done regardless of your online habits.
Why do this in the first place though? I understand it eases paranoia but if they could see from your laptop wouldn't it be compromised? I feel that would be the least of my worries. Unless i'm missing something.....
Yeah.. Unfortunatly a lot of people don't tape their webcam...
It's one of the first things I did when taking my lappies out of the box.
For the average user who simply navigates to Facebook, Twitter etc, there's no cause for concern.

First of all, you CAN'T visit onion Tor sites without Tor so telling him to never visit without Tor is redundant. And Tor > all VPNs so I wouldn't bother. Most VPNs log your usage anyway and would sell you out for a dime. If you actually trust a VPN doesn't keep logs just because they say they don't, go ahead and do illegal shit on the Dark web, dumbass.
As for putting tape over webcams, how about just unplugging the fucking thing if you're not using it? God damn. I'd be more worried about keyloggers if I were you. Get a key scrambler.
