I know the feeling! I've constantly got a floor fan running. Other tips are wet towels and aiming a fan at yourself, or those sports cloth things that stay cold. Air out your room as much as possible, especially if it's small and you've got PC/tech running a lot. Other tips can include specific types of blinds/furnishings.
