So, I just got an email from our dedicated server provider and they said that their whole network is getting a 600 gbps ddos attack at the moment.

So its not us that is down, but their network is under attack. They are trying to fix it as fast as they can, until then we may have just a bit more downtime.

It was a person ddosing especially your site. It was only Layer 4 tho. An attack of 5 seconds was enough to kick you off and your host null routed you for 15 minutes every time an attack was ongoing.
