the point she's trying to make here is that, she can extend the life span not by "undergo mitosis infinitely", you wouldn't want that....(since it may cause cancer).
The way FOXO works is by improve the "quality of our cells" in terms of the oxidative stress we receive. Most of the cells in our body are post-mitotic and never divide again (except adult stem cells)
