Why are people cruel? I'm not talking about like "Hey you're an idiot," but more of full-blown cruelty, even to peers they love. Everybody is cruel to each other in some form or another, why is that?

Is it for a personal gain? Is it out of self defense? What's the reasoning behind cruelty?

Being on a hacking forum, a lot of members here are used to being mean without remorse. We do things to others without caring what they think. We destroy people's property and belongings, but why?

I'm not saying why do you hack, that's more of a technical part of the real question. What I'm really asking about is, why are humans so brutal to one another; nature?

People want to build off others success so they could become successful to. But, when everybody's doing this, we're also bagging on each other for being just like others. Why is everyone trying to be like each other, why are people trying to get to the bottom instead of to the top? And vice-versa.

Now this, my friends, is a perfect example of cruelty, It's in a low form, but still an amazing example.
The person who comes to the forum from a merge, posts with incorrect grammar, complains when he doesn't like people. I'm sitting over here talking about a serious discussion and he barges in with brutality and hurtful words.

Pretty much the same thing, people todays don't know the value of certain things and got their priorities mixed up. That's why they end up hurting eachother.

I can't speak for others, but I'm "cruel" in a few ways, as the example of hacking, I will fuck shit up and I won't care.
I also have been called cruel because I don't care for other people, the reason I don't? Caring causes more problems than it solves.
