No, everything will be fine, soon everyone will be vaccinated and it will all be over.

Around March 2020, my colleagues and I joked about the same thing. We imagined a scenario where we all ended up being turned into zombies and discussed our survival plans.

I don't think we will escalate to apocalypse, it seems like at this point it's getting normalised and we are slowing getting back to usual life.
Unless new variant will appear and it will start all over again lol (hopefully not).

I can’t agree that the pandemic is the beginning of the apocalypse, but the world is really going crazy. It becomes scary for people, many simply begin to lose their common sense.

I'd have agreed at the beginning of the pandemic, but it could have gone much worse. They're easing travel restrictions and lockdowns are becoming a thing of the past.

The supply chain situation has been an absolute ball-ache, but it looks like we're going to be ok. It's still immensely sad to see the death numbers, and that it's still increasing. I am also angry with people who make selfish decisions every day, but I'd have been angry at selfish people for another reason if it wasn't the pandemic.
Oni's right, it could have been so much worse. Thanks to all the researchers out there who have been prepping vaccines for 10+ years for getting one out to us so quickly.
