Unless you actually pen tool'd it, then it's nothing. It's probably just a custom shape or a render with a color overlay on it :l

You need to do more than get two simple elements and combine them. People who make simple-looking logos have done way more than use a custom shape. They pen tool everything, basically. That's why people pay so much for professional logos.

You should have mentioned that you created this from scratch using the pen tool. I personally think it's really nice and simple. Good job, man.

Based in your last logo, it's quite easy to doubt you were actually able to pen tool this unless you traced over a stock photo which soesbt take any skill and isn't too impressive. And don't tell me I don't know what I'm talking about. My graphics are all over this site. And next to that, you should've made it a higher DPI if you were to make a logo. This is why logos that are own tooled are usually made in Illustrator. Ones that are made in Photoshop is close to useless for most companies.

Again, who said I made it in Photoshop? ( Not that I didn't, but this was something I did because I was bored. I can make them in Illustrator as well ) Also, as for proof, well.. Ehm I cannot really show any as I didn't save the PSD because I didn't really care for it. But I'll make sure to post screenshots on my next logo, just for you. Oh and I don't care about your graphics, that wasn't what I meant. What I meant was that you seem to only think of 1 option, which is normally the worst for the person you are giving feedback.

Based on all your replies I can come to the conclusion that you aren't as skilled in the field of graphics as you try to make yourself appear.
