On the contrary, computer science has everything to do with offensive security. You need to understand basic programming, and then data structures, before you can do an sqli or create a buffer overflow. (Or at least you should). Going further, you need to understand network architecture to craft Chernobyl packets, software design to recognize an unsanitized input, and security models to successfully bypass DEP.

Tl;dr, hacking is just abusing computer science.

Basic programming can be learned on one's own with guides or through various different IT courses. They don't need computer science to know that. Data structures I'll give you. Network Architecture can be learned through Network Administration. Software design once again can be learned on one's own or through many other IT courses. Not specifically just Computer science. I find your comment about Hacking is just abusing Computer Science to be only partially right. However. You can take as many courses as you want in Computer science, but they aren't going to teach you how to abuse everything they teach you, or teach you how it can be used in Offensive security, or anything like that. All it will teach you are a few things that Offensive security pen tester's use. Not how to be an Ethical hacker or how to become a Penetration tester, or any of the core knowledge the Security Information Field teaches.

Most community colleges like the one I'm attending currently provide majors and courses in Computer IT, Network Security, etc.

Just contact local colleges directly and ask them in detail for all the courses you're inquiring about and they are required by law to search up the information for you and provide you with it.

I did this for my college as I'm looking to major in Pharmaceuticals and Pediatrics, currently a Pre-med.

Thanks for this, I will try, though, I just moved to a brand new state I've never been to before. So, I don't know what the local colleges around here are. lol
