I fixed your code's formatting and syntax so that it at least has some hope of being "C". I'll go ahead and make a new pull request with it written as proper C, but in the mean time:

Neat little clock. I've never tried making a clock in C++ before, and now that I think about it, I probably can't Confused.

now that you want to make your own i suggest to branch my repo and try to do it using milliseconds, if you want an idea of how to just ask me and i'll be there with an answer, or do what ever you like the code is all yours
