lmao so funny story, I was a really weird child who loved attention so I posted LOTS of embarrassing stuff on Instagram. well what had happened was I lost my password for my first account from when I was in elementary, so I made a second account when I was in like 6th or 7th grade and posted a lot of cringe shit on there. and one day it just says “suspicious login attempt” and it won’t let me login even though I have the password. my guess is because I signed up with my old Facebook account, but the problem was I had deleted that Facebook account because there was also embarrassing things on that. can someone maybe help lol or tell me what to do? I’ve been trying to recover this account for three years 😅
Edit: Also I forgot to mention, one of the main reasons I need these deleted is because I plan on going to law school and working my way up to be a lawyer, and I really don’t need those accounts popping up when people search my name. thank you!

Stating the obvious, you can reset the password using your email address or phone number.

Then login from the same environment where the account was created.

that’s the thing, it says there is no email or phone number connected to the account, and even though I try to sign in at my house it just doesn’t work, I’m wondering if anyone knows a workaround or a hack or something idk lol

You can always try and report it if nothing else works. I've done that with a few old accounts and it should normally work. Sometimes Instagram won't take the account down - in this case try to report it for a different reason to the one you did originally.

I have the correct password, but when I try to sign in all it says is “suspicious login attempt” “get help logging in” and I’ve clicked all the way through it literally at least 20 times, and none of it helps, I just can’t get back into it

Aactually, I think you stuck like a friend of mine, We tried so many time with email with phone number none of them worked.

Not sure what is wrong but that happens on instagram with me also while trying to recovery my friend account.

Then It shouldn't deem It as a suspicious login attempt. There's something that's triggering the message with your current environment, compared to that of when the account was created.

Although It's useless at times, have you contacted Instagram via email?
