You can always Install an older/previous version and disable automatic updates.

I just recently updated Librewolf to the latest available version, and I wasn't pleased to see that Proton is now used by Firefox. Don't get me wrong, there are some things that I like about Proton, like a more consistent design, but that's really it. So thanks for the share. This definitely improves the look of Proton. Still not a fan of the color though.
