I was talking with my mum about this. Science hasn't got a solid consensus where life starts. I say it is as soon as the egg is fertilized, that is the only point I could see. Until my mum said she thinks it is when they have a heart beat. I'm not too sure but seems rather logical, that starts at 6 weeks old. But either way, that is way before the current cut off point of 24 weeks.

Right. It's evident that mostly every argument around abortion comes down to each side's disagreement over when life starts and the rights of the unborn child. No point in countering your reply.

Extremely pro-life as my republican ways say.

How are you pro-choice if you are taking away all choices from someone who can't even make a choice yet?

tbh I'm pro-choice because it's the woman's body and she should get to decide

I consider myself Pro-Choice, to a point of course. You need to consider the viability of the fetus, I'm not for abortions if the fetus is viable outside the womb (except in circumstances where the mother can be negatively affected by the baby being born. I don't believe that life begins at conception, to me it begins the second the baby starts crying and takes it first breath. If you have an unwanted baby and are seeking an abortion, chances are the child will not be born to loving parents or sent to an orphanage. And no child should be subjected to these conditions, just because the parents didn't want them but were pressured by religious beliefs or outside forces.

Just my thoughts on the matter.

Pro-choice, with the exception of abortion - obviously depending on the circumstances of what happened; if you got raped, then abortion is fine, if you are severe pain or something of that nature, it's fine. Otherwise, I'd say give it up for adoption instead.

Jeez, that's a hard one. Harm a potentially living being or leave it to the choice of the mother? For civil rights' sake, I would be Pro-Choice. For fertility rate problems, I would be Pro-Life. It's a really tough choice for me.
