Long time lurker. bought bronze after I realized the worth this community has given me over the years. Decided to stop just lurking and registered.

Im not here to give you my background, no one should care.

I uploaded Bo Burnhams new special called Inside for some friends and thought someone here would also have interest seeing it. I uploaded and labeled all the caption files as well, so if English isn't your preference, I hope one of the languages added will provide you context and joy.


this community rules and curious if anyone would be interested in a movie room. i admined on cytu.be for over half a decade. no flex (embarrassing, more than anything) but its super easy for anyone to start a room, host playlists/movie content and we all could chat while watching, almost like mystery science theater 3,000 or the old heckler dudes from the muppets.

the (theoretical) room would obviously not have any naming related to sinister.ly nor linking to it. I hope that would be obvious for all of the reasons but I wanted to make that clear. I would, though, love to see how this community would handle that type of chill hangout option.

I don't know, if thats stupid, I hope this upload at least finds you joy.

Looks like Kast.gg (formerly Rabb.it), pretty neat. Don't hear about these services as much, since most people are streaming to Discord/etc.

yeah i think its a complete code clone of a site that was a clone of Rabb.it. thinking back, it had privacy issues due to being a copy pasta (just like how defi crypto sites get the same flash loan done to them because they copy someone elses contracts and code)

if i remember correctly, a js command could be linked to someone in private messsgaes there and, even if the recipient didnt click on it, it would tell the sender your IP. SO, Noscript, proxies and vpns are a big plus. or its fixd. that was years ago.

I haven't heard of Movie Rooms in a long time, I think that last was was noobroom and they shut down ages ago.
