Is there any chance that I could test the game?

Open Beta will start in September latest, meanwhile I'm not really looking for more testers, however, check our Twitter and Facebook time to time as I may need some testers for some special purpose Smile

The thing is, the game is really unfinished now and its kinda hard to catch up in a closed environment so I don't want to spoil your gaming experience Smile

I'm sure you will love it once its finished, as people mentioned, I'm planning to add a lot of unique features Smile
You will be able to phish, hack other users account and manipulate them etc. Smile
Hacking feature added and fully working Smile Want to test how secure your password is? BotnetOnline is your answer!
NOTE: In BNO you crack secondary password that is there just for this purpose.

RE: BotnetOnline #9
What kind of gameplay is it? How is the game played? Are there any screenshots? This topic is not very attractive to people (and I have quite a lot of experience with game design and also publishing) as it lacks the very basic information, all I know from it is that you're making a game, what language is used and that it's something about botnets, but I still know nothing of the game itself or how it looks like, how it's played, at least something to hold on and I think it's a bit odd that people who are in the closed alpha comment (though you probably heard their opinion already), while others are left in the dark.

May I suggest adding some more information and adding something interesting to look forward to? Also, why don't you use AJAX (you have no Java/AJAX developer)? It would make it look more professional and more interactive and fluid. What about adding some assembly and disassembly focused gameplay? I guess the game will be free though, possibly ad-supported? (I myself intend to release mine as indie, it will be paid).

If you want a help from experienced developer (and game developer) you might ask me. Though if you did want help, you probably would have by this point I guess... Nevermind then.

RE: BotnetOnline #10
I don't want to publish detailed information before open beta, I made this thread to ask people what they would like to see in such a game so I could inspire myself.

Why are alpha testers commenting? I don't know, but I can't forbid it Smile

Something interesting to look forward to? Mainly the system of getting to the top. You will have to use your brain when hacking other users, use your social engineering skill while phishing and showing your strength when attacking.

Making money of this game, well, I've talked (and am talking) to different investors interested in buying a license so the team will make the mainly from the license. How the site will make the actual money is left to the investors.

If you would like to become a developer then throw me a PM, but I'm hard to work with.
