You've got to keep in mind, before anything, first of all, ban-knotes and coins - we're trying to get rid of them, and replaced with plastic ca-rds, which are mostly accepted in urban and technology advanced cities (compared to some in Africa and Asia) In Europe you can pay by car-d basically anywhere, that means B-anks would have like 80-90% of the world economy to themselves.
