Hey guys. Today I found out what means "bipolar". I read some shit and some guy mentioned that. So I went to the Altar of Google.

What I found is - [spoiler]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bipolar_disorder[/spoler]

So, now I know I'm dealing with Bipolar disorder.
Like, almost all symptoms match.

I mean, I experience almost everything mentioned in wikipedia.
sadness, anxiety, guilt, anger, isolation, hopelessness, disturbances in sleep and appetite, fatigue and loss of interest in usually enjoyable activities, problems concentrating, loneliness, apathy or indifference, loss of interest in sexual activity, shyness or social anxiety...

Also my fuckin' suicidal thoughts...
It's been like that for about 3 months. So, maybe 3 left. (May last for 6 months)

Has anyone else experienced this?
I just come to you guys, cause I have nowhere else to go.

I used to suffer from something similar. And don't worry, it can go away Smile I know it is not really easy, but find a hobby, something that will make you feel better about yourself. Get a pet that you can take care of, read books and find a club where you can discuss them (or with films or anything like that), create some projects that you can live for. Create some sort of meaning to your life. It can be anything Smile

If you ever want, feel free to write me a pm and I'll try to help you Smile
Good luck!

PS: These people help a lot too: http://www.samaritans.org/ they are really friendly and they do actually help. Don't be shy and write them an e-mail. Sometimes just writing everything down and seeing that somebody actually does care makes a huge difference!
Staff will never ever ask you for your personal information.
We know everything about you anyway.

To date, there is no cure for bipolar disorder. But proper treatment helps most people with bipolar disorder gain better control of their mood swings and related symptoms. This is also true for people with the most severe forms of the illness.

Because bipolar disorder is a lifelong and recurrent illness, people with the disorder need long-term treatment to maintain control of bipolar symptoms. An effective maintenance treatment plan includes medication and psychotherapy for preventing relapse and reducing symptom severity.

My advice to you would be to go and see your GP, it's good that you have done some research and realized there is something not right, but it could be something else entirely causing these symptoms. (depression for one) which is curable, and IF you are suffering from bipolar you need to start treatment to help control the symptoms as 1llusion said contact the Samaritans if you are feeling low they will offer you a sympathetic ear and you can get all those feelings off your chest.

I've been f*****g low at times in my life and have suffered from depression but I got treatment for it and now I have put it all behind me, I know I don't know you all that well but if you want to chat PM me
If you need help feel free to PM me

Also, bipolar disorder has some kind of link with marijuana use. And you now, I'm that green, sweet-scented, stuff lover :epic:
May not be the cause, but that's interesting.

And I'm not taking any pills or anything like that. Noone knows about me dealing this gift. (people around me are just too stupid to notice anything) #truestory
As for the psychotherapy...I've always thought that it's like destroying personality.

I'll see what I can do on my own.
Thanks for the replies.

PS. I did some more research, and I'm more of a unipolar, than bipolar. Not much of a difference, I guess. Then again...looks like I'm both.

I've suffered from bi-polar for a number of years. Right now I'm on a good combination of medications that seem to have me somewhat stable. I still have bad periods but it's more manageable for me to deal with.

Its really good to hear that you kept away from pills.

If you ever do think about taking them, I really recommend you see this first http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JsqDyEMkLpQ

I think mental health disorders are pretty bogus. Obviously some people are mentally unwell but their ability to diagnose is poor and their ability to treat is even worse.

nvm I see Mobbin already posted the video, I sent him it a while back Biggrin

I think its totally normal to have those feelings you mentioned. Their normal human emotions depending on what was going on in your life.
