Best thing you have achieved this year 12-17-2018, 01:11 AM

What have you all achieved this year? For me, it was sorting my life out and looking at the bigger picture to a lot of BS that was in my life that I could not be asked to deal with that I finally dealt with.

It’s hard to look back at what you’ve learned. Because you only know your current self.

Maintaining health and prosperity.
Can't really ask for more than that.

Definitely kept my sanity in check through my senior year (still have half of that to go but hey we're looking okay so far.)
That and getting into the college of my dreams has been an amazing thing for me and I'm really happy about it, whether I go or not.
Glad to see the forum grow too even if my activity has waned a little bit.

I used 2018 to get out of my self-isolation of two years. I met new people and found the love of computers again

Though I technically finished my Masters at the end of 2017 - I had my commencement ceremony in May. Having my family fly over to the states and see the ceremony was great.

My biggest achievement this year is getting a job.
I'm still at uni so I'm only working part-time, but I love learning new stuff and improving my problem solving skills while at work.

Getting a job can be hard in life especially with more and more people being born each day and what you doing at uni?

I have to disagree with that. For example, if you came into 2018 not knowing how to open a door and you could open a door by the end then of the year then you know that you have learned to do that.
