Best science fiction movies you've seen.

I don't normally watch science fiction movies, but I am starting to watch some of them and really like them. I like watching movies about aliens such as Battleship and War of the Worlds. What are some your favorite science fiction movies?

I've honestly never seen Star Wars. So I can't add to that vote. However, I absolutely love the movie Galaxy Quest. Best sci fiction movie on the planet. On the dark end of the science fiction spectrum I would recommend Event Horizon. Amazing film!

It seems like you guys like Star Wars. I have not watched any of the Star Wars movies, but I think I should watch it sometime because I have heard good things about the movie.
