Although I am no Apple user. I have been using Android since forever. But Google Maps never failed me. Traffic information are top notch, navigates me to wherever I want to go and supplies neat infos about certain places.

google maps and there are some extensions for it if you know how to modify it

Google Maps and If you are into OpenSource options, I would recommend Openstreet and it's frontend OSMand
