Best childhood memories?

What is your favorite childhood memorie(s)? I'm coming to an age where I'm slowly losing my childhood memories. I used to have some old childhood friends, and I'm actually forgetting their names. It's kind of sad for me.

We used to have fun in our backyards digging holes to find treasure. I remember riding our bikes to the local lake and taking off our shirts and pants and jumping into the shiny lake in our underwear. Summers used to be way longer and school seemed long off when it was summer. Almost like a dream. Now I'm losing all these memories and there's no way to get them back.

I used to go to a creek in my backyard with my group of friends and catch crayfish in plastic crates with meat from our sandwiches. We all went fishing with our poles and caught fish within minutes. Now, there's barely any fish in the stream.

I remember waking up and not having worries, and always being happy. It was a better time.

I was friends with this girl in kindergarten. We played this super hero game for a really long time. She moved to a different state. I got my first kiss hehe.

I'd probably say the same as you, one of my friends who gave me my first kiss during a camp. While she didn't move away, we sort of drifted apart and really haven't talked since.
