Wanted to try and do something out of my comfort zone.
I decided to do something that was "full".
Something that was edge to edge and had a background.
Still not where I want to be but i think I am getting better.

Perhaps a tinge of a color other than red In some places may put a little more character Into It, but It's still a nice piece of work.

I was thinking a touch of a fine white along some of the lines, would bring the image out as whole.

It can be a trial and error process, and the best way to see what works Is for the OP to provide a few comparisons.

Nice work, at first glaces it looks symmetric, I see that slight details are not the same.
