Ban for bad spelling and grammar.

In all seriousness, I propose that warnings are given out to unreadable threads and posts. If English isn't your first language, or you suck at grammar, get the Grammarly plugin for your browser. This would drastically improve the quality of SL.

I can agree here. But the fact is we'd lose many many members due to this.

It wouldn't be a permaban, just a 1 or 2 day thing after say 3 warnings.

I doubt a ban would raise peoples grammar skills though.

I highly suggest this be implemented, considering that decent grammar is actually a RULE thats not being ENFORCED.

If some one uses bad grammar, it may not be their fault, maybe they went to a bad school, maybe they moved to an English speaking country after they had grown up speaking a different language. If you decide you are not fond of others grammar maybe you could buy them hooked on phonics, or tutor them in your free time Tongue

Edit: Go ahead and Neg me for this humorous comment, I honestly do not care and it would just prove that who ever is neg repping me has no sense of humor.

That's why I suggested the plugin which underlines grammar and spelling errors, and offers fixes for them.

I posted on a thread earlier where the guy posted a video, and English was his first language, but he didn't put effort into his post at all and it just looked down right sloppy, and if he got a ban it would probably teach him to stop being lazy or don't post at all... I believe quite a bit of the bad grammar on the forum is caused by laziness. I know one or two people here that should be exempt from this rule, other than them and probably a few others, I think it should be a day ban.
