I had this problem yesterday. There's no reason you should be in negative SP after the reset. But if, for some reason, you end up in negative SP, you cannot access about half the forums on SL for some strange reason.

It's a problem with the points plugin, pirata nervo is the only person who can really correct this, or a good coder, which isn't free.

I think I've fixed the issue causing members to have negative balances. I may be wrong, though.
