BTC Mixing Service [SCAM] #1
I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right place...

The other day I went to use the service Bitcoin Blender "Quick Mix"  and was scammed. My BTC never arrived @ the destination address. I'm just gonna take the loss and move on. However, I was wondering if anyone knew of a mixing service that's legit . I checked the blockchain and no transactions ever occurred for my destination address.

Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Why wouldn't you use a trusted seller?

Doesn't matter. Trusted seller could have bought from untrustworthy people.

Yeah mate...why not go with one of the more known and trusted ones. Definitely wouldn't go with a clearweb one, or even a clearweb one with a TOR mirror. Try Helix by Grams or PayShield by Sigaint. Don't take these as perfect, as you can still get scammed, but a LOT of the "Bitcoin Blender" branded services are scams, although there are a few legit ones. And yes, there are a lot with the name Bitcoin Blender.

Your link isn't on there but I would suggest adding it.

Well.. I thought Deep Dot Web was a trusted source. This was my first time using a mixer. I was anonymizing my coins with another method prior to this attempt. Lesson learned!

Thanks for that info. I will check with that source before utilizing another mixer service.

I've used a service by the name of 'Helix' for years now - very reliable! It's the only one I've ever used. It's owned by the same individuals who run 'Grams'.

I've used Helix once and I wasn't super impressed. I don't like their minimum amount of BTC required to mix. I usually need to send small amounts of BTC to VPN providers. I use torwallet for this sort of thing. They have a variety of features and I've never had an issue/problem with them yet. They also offer their services on the onion if you prefer it.

You could just create a new wallet, forward the coins there via 'Helix' and then send the cleaned coins to your VPN service. Besides, you aren't on any FBI-most-wanted list - doing all this is illogical in your situation.
