Avoid Console Ban (Xbox One) #1
I'm sure most of you have figured it out already, but for those who don't: if you get console banned or an account that gets perma-banned and you can't play online anymore.

Just delete the banned account and format the xbox. You'll lose the games you had on it, but better than playing offline only. Plus, you might be able to re-download the games you have on the banned account if you have a second account logged in while starting the install. (After deleting game and before deleting account obviously)

That's not how a console ban actually works, and I'm not even an Xbox kiddie.
I believe on the 360 it was a pretty well-designed process that required copying keys ("KV") from someone else's Xbox in order to evade. Why would the One take a step backwards?

With xbox it doesnt matter if you format as you will need some way to change the KV (Key vault). Also if you have a perma banned account you still have 3-4 perma bans on that xbox left anyway.

TIP : dont do glitches or be a dick.

Well I got banned and this worked for me. I didn't have to deal with KV's or anything.

I was "host booting' in Halo: Masterchief Collection. I knew I'd get banned, so I didn't bitch about it or nothing.

Please lemme know if that does occur. Honestly, I forgot to just try deleting the banned account in the first place. But idk, I was console banned, deleted everything then reformat, hard reset and I'm back online.
