Go to Baker Street if you're a Sherlock fan, or just walk around where the London Eye is; the street performers are nice. Actually, just generally walk around the place. I live up north and was acting like a gobsmacked tourist when I went there. It's completely different to the rest of the UK.
Does everyone over there hate London, except the people living there? Seems that way and I've visited on more than one occasion.

It's like foreigners who come to the US they automatically go NEW YORK!!!!! or CALIFORNIA!!! because they are the most known, but the smaller states are what holds the true beauty, heart and soul.
There are other states people visit a lot (i.e. Florida). It's true that many states are overlooked as vacation spots, though.
