The Texas teen, who injured four people, including a teacher, after he open fired at his high school reportedly was given a welcome home party by his family members even as one of the victims remains in coma after suffering a gunshot wound.

Timothy George Simpkins, 18, a student of Timberview High School in Arlington, was released on $75,000 bond from Tarrant County Jail on Thursday and headed to home confinement. Simpkins was arrested for allegedly shooting a 15-year-old boy "seven or eight times", a teacher Calvin Pettitt in the back and grazing a teenage girl at his school.

I mean I'm not condoning Kyle Rittenhouse in Kenosha, but like, $2.5million bond compared to $7.5k someone fucked up.

That's ridiculous... partying after something like this is a stupid decision, but posting it on social media is somehow even stupider.

Exactly.
Kyle Rittenhouse was proven and ruled to be self defense. The shooter is Arlington was suspected to be bullied, so shooting 4 people was ruled somehow okay?

Where was the teacher? Where was the security officer? Why didn't the teacher have control of the classroom/students? Why weren't there shouts for the violence to end? How long was this kid being bullied? To waht extent was the bullying prior? Why wasn't anything being done about it? No one else was there for him, he was getting tossed around like a stuffed animal. The attacker had no conern for his safety when he picked him up and THREW him across the room. I see in the videos, the shooter hurdled up and didnt even swing back. Seems like he wasn't even engaging in a physical fight. The entire video was HIM getting attacked while everyone just watched. I have been there myself and know first hand what this is like. Every fucking day.... the same people, the same insults and the same pushes in the hallway, the same intimidation and harrassment, over and over again. Its even worse these days than it was 20 years ago when I was in school. The bullies and punks only lasted as long as I wouldn't stand up for myself. When I did, I actually made friends and everything changed. It took a few heads getting smashed into the floor, a few nuts getting kicked in, a few punches to the FACE... for them to realize I AM NOT THE KID TO BULLY.

Too bad. The people who were shot were the ones involved day in, day out. I love it. Don't like it? Don't be a bitch ass punk who thinks you get away with this behavior. Eventually, someone is going to come around and knock your ass out. Mad respect for this kid.

Hold on, I just read he shot a 7-8 year old kid?
While I agree with your sentiment, I think I'm confused on the details of this kid.

If you're being bullied within in an inch of your sanity, then I'm not surprised he brought a gun out. But shooting a 7 year old is something more than lashing out at a bully. Correct me if I've misread of misunderstood somewhere.

He also misfired and struck a girl who had nothing to do with the incident. The OP of the original comment is retarded.

^ This.

There are so many ways to handle and take action against bullies. Shooting Is not one of them. His behavior Is totally Inexcusable.
