Not at all, the world has always been in conflict and now is actually one with the least conflicts in history. United Nations is still a joke, but only when compared to Utopian world order, realistically it's... good which is still very good. The only thing to fear is the ability of Humanity to destroy earth in a atomic exchange, but even considering those requires the world to come to very high tension, which it's not close to. Even "sparks" in history like Cuban missile crisis or Archduke getting shot leading to WW1 , both "sparks" actually had decades of geopolitics tension and are only famous as the straw that broke the camel's back.
