I think both the city and the country have their own advantages. I don't think how people "act" is really relevant (unless you are hanging around dumb city/country folks).

Depends i enjoy them both as i have had the opportunity to love in both places. I guess it is just personal preference

I wouldn't be able to decide. I was raised in the country but moved to a city when I was a teenager. If I had to choose one though I'd probably choose the country.

I wonder, would your answers change if you moved abroad? Would you still want to live in the country in a foreign country?

I know my preference would change from town/countryside to town/city for a foreign country, especially for the first few years of living there.
