Evening everyone.
I want to ask for your opinion and also sharing experience for who members here that using Adobe Light room.
Which one is better for editing images.
Is it Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Light room?
Because some of my IT friends suggest me to using Light room for editing purposes.
They not really suggest me to using GIMP because the software have minor function for editing purpose.
Is that true my respectful members of Sinister.ly forums?

Upgrade from GIMP! Photoshop is a good place to start, but Lightroom is more for editing photos after shooting and Illustrator would be more for commercial uses I presume according to @mothered . Depends on what you what to edit. If you want to add objects and remove backgrounds and add scenery then Photoshop. If you want to tune images then Lightroom and Illustrator for that commercial edge I presume.
