Apparently battery life is so bad with the apple watch they're requiring developers to make the apps a 10 second use only

I don't even see why they created a smart watch. Why wouldn't you just buy an iPhone if you're going to buy a tiny ass watch that probably costs the same as the phone and dies quickly?

Well it looks like they've solved the appalling battery life problem with typical Apple ingenuity, make people only use the watch for 10 secs at a time, what's the point?

Totally a niche product. Until they make one with significant stand-alone utility, I don't see this as going anywhere.
