Apple's "Magic" gold! #1

"The molecules in Apple's gold are closer together, making it twice as hard as standard gold."

Apple is really pulling some bullshit with this one. Just another sherry on top of what looks like one of the silliest devices I've seen in a long time. People are going absolutely insane about what'll most likely be a mid-range smartwatch with really limited capabilities and a really fragile shell, they're going insane over it, because it's Apple.

Thoughts?

Twice as hard?
I slept during science but I don't think that's how it works.

Just a marketing technique to fool gullible idiots. They use big terms that uneducated people don't understand to make it sound like the truth. It's been happening for ages.

EDIT: Just found something I found funny, they called it "gold molecules". Gold is an element, making it an atom. Not a molecule. They probably mixed it with something hard such as Nickel to make it stronger and pulled a bullshit lie to make it sound like they were doing something super complicated.

Confirming this, they're patenting it as an alloy. It has less gold in it than 18k gold apparently. So imo its not even gold. Its gold coloured.

Ceramics, apparently. They filed a patent for the technique a while back.

They're by far the best looking smart watches on the market. Even with the black driver bar at the bottom. From what I've heard the battery life lets them down, though.

Personally the design of this model is nothing compared to the Moto 360"s.

the peformance of it wll be the same as any other competitive smart watches out there.

I doubt that Apple can make a smart watch that's anywhere near as good as the Moto 360.
