now thats true I have predicted ever since I was young in the future, there will be TV plasma screens
that can be rolled together, rolled out, and then placed onto any wall or where you want it. I predicted it in 2004 and I still believe it haha

You mean like you'd roll a piece of paper? I suppose a projector isn't far off that thought. However, in terms of the screen displaying the image itself.. we only have to look at those folding smartphones to realise it's possible.

yeah like a piece of plastic with some micro tech inside, that becomes the screen dont know exactly how to describe it,
but i think you understand somewhat what I mean

The only 3 reasons I can really think of to even produce something this big would be for:

1. The people who use iPad's as entertainment for their kids/themselves(watching videos, that type of thing)
2. If their attempting to compete with the Mircosoft Surface??
3. Artists.

Probably the gimmickiest thing Apple has made so far. At 16 inches wide, it's bigger than many laptops.

There's speculation that the giant iPad could measure up to 16 inches across to give it a screen as big as one of Apple's MacBook laptops.

That would make the gadget as wide as the wheel of a car – far larger than the 11-inch and 12.9-inch displays offered by the current iPad Pro.

Trusted Apple leaker and Bloomberg journalist Mark Gruman revealed the nascent plans in a newsletter published on Sunday.

With the right investment In the tech, it will be more like add-on Mac screens with a touch element.

Any tablet more than 10 inches is way too uncomfortable for me. 16 inch is the size of laptop. Of course it will be fun for gaming but the portability issue will probably be it's downfall. Apple products are certainly innovative. But as with its policy, we will have to wait and see the pricing. I am not sure how many will be able to afford it. Certainly not me.
