apartment for job people only... rent etc...
I'm a little confused, doesn't that more apply to the rent vs mortgage thing than whether it's an apartment or house? If you rent a house, you can't do anything to it without landlord permission. Equally, you can own the apartment and make changes internally. The only limitation on owning an apartment is if you want to extend the actual building (which few people do unless they can afford to anyway).

From a renting standpoint, I much prefer a house. However, space is at an absolute premium in the UK. So, renting a house is very expensive. I live in a tiny property given how much we pay per month. Naturally, it would be cheaper and nicer to own a house.

yes house is a house weather its small or one room it give freedom no tension of paying money....example if we buy anything big like fridge , tv where where we keep moving...all those stuff i dont like to be on rent...life...its always better to get a job and take alone for house.... and keep depositing money...maybe its hard time but one day it will be your if you deposit your money on time..

I have lived in an apartment all my life because as a child I often had to live in a private house and this annoyed me most of all, because I quickly ate up the interior and these walls. That is why I have grown up I prefer to rent different apartments, it is interesting and will never get bored

Unfortunately, I know people who have worked more hours per week than most in my country, but even after 20 years they are unable to get a house. They can't even afford to get married to each other. In some countries, the cost of living is so high, that owning a house is becoming rare. Barely over half of the entire population of my country own their own home. So, we are talking about literal millions of people who work full time for decades, that are still unable to get approved for a mortgage from the bank. It is what it is. However, we all aim to earn and save enough to one day own a property.

I absolutely agree and relate this to my country.

The cost of real estate In the form of housing, has significantly Increased over the last decade or so, to the point of owning your own home being a thing of the past.

I have always dreamed of a house, but I understand that the apartment is more profitable. Also I have phoenix real estate, namely an old apartment in the city center, but it needs to be repaired, and now because of the pandemic it has become very expensive to do. So I'm thinking of selling it and buying myself a house somewhere outside the city for a holiday in the warm season. But for now, I will wait until the pandemic is over to sell it at a better price.

It sometimes depends where the apartment Is located.

For Instance, In my country, apartments situated within walking distance of the city are worth In the millions, while houses In the next suburb are half the cost.

If you have a diminutive family, or you move around a lot, an apartment might be the right investment for you. On the other hand, if you have a large or growing family, an independent property might be the fitting cull for you. As an investment, both kind of properties have their pros and cons. For instance, apartments may magnetize a higher number of tenants. On the other hand, the cost of an independent property conventionally appreciates at a better rate than an apartment.

I am also one of those who have always dreamed of a house, but I know it is difficult to maintain it, so I live in an apartment. But I have a lot of relatives and friends, so if I want to have a party, I rent a house for the weekend. We also like to stay in a villa when we go on vacation, but I can afford to rent a villa for no more than a month, and this is a completely different expense than if I were its owner. By the way, if we talk about a vacation, I would like to go to Barbados this summer, besides, I've already found cheap luxury villas for rent on https://www.virgovillasbarbados.com/search.php. If you have been in Barbados, please share your impressions.

I've always loved apartments more than a house for some reason, I grew up in the city, and been living in major cities since then.
There's just something about it Heart  I love it!

But for someone young, start out with an apartment, get your economy right, and then think about buying a house, if that's what you want Biggrin

That's the reason why I prefer an apartment.

I've been there, done that with mowing lawns & pulling out weeds, vacuuming and dusting 10 rooms and repainting the Interior and maintaining the exterior.
