Unfortunately, I know people who have worked more hours per week than most in my country, but even after 20 years they are unable to get a house. They can't even afford to get married to each other. In some countries, the cost of living is so high, that owning a house is becoming rare. 

I absolutely agree and relate this to my country.

The cost of real estate In the form of housing, has significantly Increased over the last decade or so, to the point of owning your own home being a thing of the past.
