Anyone here train? #1
G'day guys,

How many of you would be considered athlete? Who here trains regularly and if you do, what are your goals as an athlete?

My ultimate goal in life is to achieve a 50 inch vertical jump. At the moment I'm doing calisthenics to put some muscle on my frame. Currently, I'm training 2-3 times a day 7 days a week.

Any other athletes out there?

I use to train regularly when I played basketball and football, but these days I don't do much. I'd really like to get back into it however.

Awesome. I play small forward. Came second at state champs once and qualified for national champs. Was good times. I've migrated from basketball to volleyball now though.

Damn that's a very nice achievement.

I've played a bit of volleyball, but nothing serious. I just play with friends every now and again for some fun.

It's really fun, especially when you're playing on the beach.

Although, it is much harder getting up off the sand. Beach volleyball is infinitely tougher than indoor.

Yeah man, you get extremely tired after a short period of time. The sand definitely does make it harder to be agile etc.
