Another Fresh Face... 07-19-2013, 05:48 PM

Hi there, another new member
Computers, now what do I know about computers?
Not a great deal to be fair but that's changing rapidly,
Always had an interest but circumstances usually pulled me away,
Been a windows user since 98 and always been competent in everyday use,
Everyday use bored me so I took a few apart just to put them back together,
As time passed, the windows operating system changed and so did my interests,
During my teens I was a bit naughty, I didn't like paying for things and my natural curiosity can into play,
With computers there's always problems and its finding the solution, the thinking out of the box that drives me,
I am older now, I look back and I think what if I took the opportunity of going down the computer science and study route,
College, Uni, where could I be now... It feels there's always been a void.
I started watching videos on YouTube (Defcon, Hak5, ect) and its rekindled my curiosity with a vengeance!
Boy do I feel like I have been missing out...
I am a proud new owner of a Raspberry Pi, never really used Linux before (Telnet'ed into sdf.lonstar.org a long time ago)
so its the dawn of a new era for me, could of used VM software or ssh'd back into a free shell but it wouldn't of been the same and I am sure you know what I mean.
So what do I want from HackCommunity? Unfortunately I don't feel of a level to contribute as of yet, however like many I am here to change that and feel that we all share a common interest. I am here to learn, I like to joke around and I hope to make a few concrete friends along the way.
I have a few ideas for the future, there's a few things I feel I need to learn and a couple of projects I want to look into but I don't want to try and run before I can walk, patience is defiantly one of my virtues.
PM me
(And I don't really drink bleach
