I got hooked on anime after watching Bleach but now I'm no longer a fan of that anime.

I would vouch for Sword Art Online. It's hugely popular so there is a fan-craze going on with it but if you can ignore the hype, it's a great show.

I would recommend several shows but it depends on what you're interested in? There is such a huge variety. What genres are you into? Have you used sites like Crunchyroll and MyAnineList? They have plenty of information and on Crunchyroll they have a top shows list (I forget what it's called) and most of the shows on that list are great.
