I can attest for Parasyte. Better read it before the anime comes out, cuz then it's main stream. I read Rave Master before, and it's by the maker of Fairy Tale. It's basically very similar with the character designs, but the ending was just a disappointment. No idea about Route 20 though, might check that one out.

Iryuu: Team Medical Dragon, Uwagaki, and 3.3.7 Byooshi!! might be worth your while.

Quick warnings though, Team Med Dragon had a Japanese tv show adaption with awesome music, so it's definitely not as obscure in Nippon. Uwagki is a supernatural rom-com with nice feels and 3.3.7 Byooshi!! is about a guy who really wants to cheer. It's way better than it sounds.

I've read Parasyte and Rave Master, not the others though. Thanks for the recommendations though, I'll check them out!

You should also try reading Kisei Kanojo Sana as well, if its parasites you 'like'...

Ugh, Parasistence Sana. Have fun with that one. The art style is great. The story...? Let's just say if you've read To Love-Ru or any ecchi supernatural, you'll know what to expect.

Art was great, story wasn't that horrible - at least it had some semblance of closure, and it's implied who the MC would end up with. Shame it couldn't be longer.
