China has been accused of using their companies to sell counterfeit goods and other illicit items. These items are then sold on Amazon.com.

We all know China sells fakes/counterfeits to the world and there is no shortage of people wanting cheap goods.

Amazon is complicit in this, its how they have been able to grow into the behemoth they are now. The only reason you see action towards these 600+ sellers is that Amazon needs to look like its doing something, its that simple.

Remember, market forces dictate what is sold and what it deems the value of an item to be so if there are a multitude of Chinese sellers peddling fake goods then quite simply, its what the people want.

Anyone who shops online should educate themselves about what to look for when identifying a seller of legitimate goods vs fake, if you don't do that or don't care, then that is on you.
