Alternative Benefits to Coding & Programming #1
So I'm pretty stoked to have this conversation because this is a realization I've come to in the last few years.

I'm 28, I've been programming since I was 15. I'm fucking horrid when it comes to mathematics but coding sticks to me more as a logic than a mathematical program (a lot of you would debate that they're the same exact thing via different mediums, and you're fukn right about that but numbers confuse me).

One thing I've come to realize having been programming for so long is that it's instilled the concept of how literally EVERYTHING, coding or otherwise, works.

1. Something needs to exist and perform something else.
2. Create & Define that something.
3. Tell it what you want it to do & how to do it.
4. Profit.

Everything works this way, from Art and Science to bar stools and floor paneling.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who's noticed this, and it's thanks to the basic concept of coding that I've been able to solve very complex real-life problems as an adult using simple logic based on this.

Have you lot ever had any experience with anything similar, or noticed any benefits you've achieved since you dove into programming? Also, how old were you and what was your first project?
