Nothing will change for upgraded members for a while. I can tell you that there will be changes, though.

I liked how points played such a big part on Sinisterly. It made sense for a forum to reward users for posting. But I believe this decision will benefit SL and it's users. Good decision, Oni.

They will still, the rewards will be changed, though.

Second of all, I can't say I'm surprised. I knew it couldn't stay like this forever but it was fun for a while.

SP will continue to have great benefits, and you might even find a few unique rewards for SP soon. Obviously, there will be a new emphasis on money, though. Unfortunately, it's necessary for the forum to expand, and we all want that. Tongue

I know I'm a little late to the party on this thread, but I wanted to say that

1) I am disappoint that my SP won't go towards upgrading my membership, since that's the sole reason I was banking it up.
2) I really appreciate your transparency on the matter and at the end of the day I understand the reasoning, so +1 to transparency

Oni said he might implement SP going towards rankings. But it will be way more SP to rank up versus before.

It's all good. I'll surely find something else to spend SP on, and when I get some extra funds around I'll throw it at upgrading my account :-).
