From my understanding that functionality is typical of Adobe products, the modification would lie in amtlib.dll. This was released by PortableApps 10 years ago so any malicious functionality would likely be defunct. That said, anything posted here should be ran in a controlled environment with protections until you've made your own judgement.

Yeah might be, but don't really see why it would need to scan the entire local network... But from Adobe nothing is very surprising :p

Anyway I personally think open source alternatives are now about as good [depending on your usage], just need some time to get familiar with the UX and then no more doubt about viruses
